HISTORY

AN HISTORIC VESSEL

The Sant Isidre is a ‘Llagut’ (classic Catalan fishing vessel) built in 1925 at Porto Colom (Mallorca – Balearic Islands) for fishing purposes. The vessel was intercepted by the Navy while carrying contraband, confiscated and passed into the hands of the Navy of the Spanish Republic. Later it was used as a warship during the Spanish Civil War. The boat was abandoned at the port of Palamos, due to the economic crisis in the 90’s. At which point it was acquired by Quico Despuig (master boat builder) who restored it and gave it new life. At present this ‘llagut’ with a Mediterranean history is available to anyone who wishes to enjoy the vessel, and its geographical and cultural surroundings in this privileged part of the Costa Brava.

The Sant Isidre offers programmed routes along the coast. Full day, half day, night sailing … The boat also welcomes parties, birthdays, stag / hen parties, weddings…
